Why Age 7?
A window that opens with the first adult molars
By age 7, the first adult molars have erupted and established the back bite — giving Dr. Grover enough information to evaluate front-to-back and side-to-side tooth relationships. The presence of erupting incisors can reveal early signs of overbite, open bite, crowding, or other issues that are far easier to address now than later.
