Dr. Shaifali Grover
Dr. Grover, a Board Certified Orthodontist, hails from India. After completing dental school and gaining three years of professional experience, she pursued advanced studies in the United States. She spent two years at the University of Pennsylvania earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, followed by three years at the University of Connecticut where she obtained her Master’s in Science and specialized training in Orthodontics.
Actively involved in her field, Dr. Grover is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. She regularly attends professional meetings and continuing education courses to stay current in orthodontic advancements. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Grover views Orthodontics as a blend of art and science, driven by her passion to deliver patients a happy and healthy smile. Her approach focuses on addressing each patient’s unique orthodontic needs in a caring environment, aiming for the highest standards of treatment and a positive experience. She finds immense fulfillment in her profession and feels fortunate to practice it.
Outside of work, Dr. Grover enjoys exercising at Lifetime Fitness, reading, and cherishing moments with her family. Committed to community service, she actively engages in various volunteer opportunities. MICHAEL Sawaf, D.M.D., C.A.G.S.
Dr. Michael Sawaf received his D.M.D degree from Boston University where he remains a member of the Boston University Dental Alumni Association. He is a former Naval Officer. From 2001-2004, he served as an assistant director of the general practice residency program at The Naval Medical Center San Diego. From there he went on to complete his orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics residency at Jacksonville University where he received a Certificate of Advance Studies in Orthodontics, C.A.G.S. Dr. Michael Sawaf has achieved board certification through The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) on June 1, 2007. He earned his first recertification on March 1, 2012, and his second recertification on December 1, 2020.
He is a member of College of Diplomates Of the American Board of Orthodontics, The American Association Of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and The American Dental Association.
Dr. Sawaf enjoys staying on the cutting edge of orthodontics and believes in precision orthodontic care from the first consultation to the results. His goal is to not only straighten teeth, but to make someone’s smile a perfect complement to their overall facial appearance stating, “We can do so much more with the braces today than we could a generation ago. Today’s orthodontic treatment is faster, more comfortable, and more attractive. The possibilities for a patient’s smile are virtually endless.” Dr. Sawaf is a firm believer in communication with the referring dentist, as well as coordinating the patient’s care with an oral surgeon, as deemed necessary, so that the patient truly receives optimum orthodontic results. He now has an orthodontic practice in Cool Springs of Franklin, TN. He comes to this area possessing the qualities, experience, education and credentials of a great Orthodontist. Dr. Sawaf has a terrific team consisting of specially trained staff that will assist him in providing optimum orthodontic care. He and his staff are committed to providing the highest standards of orthodontic care in a relaxed, pleasant and professional environment.
Dr. Michael has been practicing in Franklin since 2006. He is an active resident of the Brentwood and Franklin communities and involved in Williamson County Chamber of Commerce.
He and his family reside in the Brentwood community. On a personal note, Dr. Sawaf is a is a former soccer player. These days he enjoys running, swimming, coaching YMCA youth league and plays golf when the opportunity arises.
